A Magnesium Corvid

chipper the crow

you may have seen this corvid around the site! chipper is my main sona, a six-limbed slightly draconic crow-thing. genetically, fae's a carrion crow (Corvus corone), not an american crow or any kind of raven!

how would i describe it? a kind of four-legged two-winged crow, with straight horns (lightweight and laterally flattened), cat-like eyes (sometimes glowing), and scalloped patterns on its wings, tail, and (most importantly) its neck. its tail is that of an average crow, except for when it's that of a parrot, or a dromaeosaur of some sort. occasionally its wings have claws, and often it has sharp teeth, except for when i can't be assed to draw those. you know, normal crow stuff

if you've seen other images of hir about, or glanced up at the current favicon, you might notice something: ze isn't the soft pink shown here. not even warm-toned! there's a highly important reason for this: i wanted a warm, light colour scheme for this site and hir normal design didn't fit that. maybe one day i'll implement a dark black-and-blue theme where ze can be hir normal self...
